At The Steeple House at Kapalua, we would like your venue sourcing and booking process to be as smooth as possible. This page is designed to answer questions that we hear from our clients the most often. Please connect with our sales team for more information about any topic.

How close is The Steeple House to the beach?

The Steeple House is beautifully positioned on the coast of Kapalua, just above Ironwoods beach. From our front door, it is about a five minute walk until there is sand between your toes! Our easy access to this beautiful beach allows for perfect sunset photos,  great group shots, or even a location for a small wedding ceremony under 20 guests. 

You will also enjoy access to the beautiful cliffs of Kapalua, perfect for dramatic bridal photos!

What does your site fee include?

The site fee for The Steeple House includes the use of our beautiful venue for an entire day. It's yours to use as you please! Our site fee includes the use of our beautiful venue, vintage furniture in the bridal suite, our petite catering kitchen,  indoor and outdoor bluetooth speaker system, and parking for 40 cars.  The Steeple House includes many configurations for your event, and fantastic weather backups indoors in case of inclement weather. 

Use of our beautiful bridal suite with private bathroom is also included in your site fee., as well as additional restrooms for up to 150 guests.

At this time, our venue does not include use of tables and chairs in the site fee. 

Can I book a wedding rehearsal?

There is no fee with booking a wedding rehearsal for your wedding. Scheduling of a rehearsal is subject to booked events and rehearsals may not be available the day before your event.

Please do schedule your rehearsal with our sales team, so that The Steeple House will be open and available for the comfort of your guests at your rehearsal. 

What are the parking allowances at The Steeple House?

The beach parking lot in front of The Steeple House is for our use the late afternoons and evenings. It will fit about 35-40 cars, enough for 80 or so guests. For events with over 100 guests, The Steeple House will provide a parking attendant who will assist guests in parking up to 50 cars, perfect for 110-125 guests. If your guest count exceeds 125 guests, we strongly suggest use of a valet service to park cars in the public lot and retrieve them for your guests. 

Vendors are invited to park in the lot behind Sansei. 

Do you require a wedding planner? Can I use my own vendors?

The Steeple House requests that any events over 50 guests please book a professional wedding or event planner to manage the day. The Steeple House has a list of preferred planners and vendors, available upon request. 

If you would like to use a vendor that is not on our preferred list, we ask that you allow our sales team to connect with them in order to share our vendor policies and procedures, and to collect a current certificate of insurance from that business. 

How does the booking process work?

If you would like to reserve your wedding date, please contact our sales team to request a contract. We will send you a contract to review electronically, as well as a request for a 50% deposit to reserve the date. The deposit can be made by credit card electronically through our booking system, or by sending a check. 

Once the contract is signed, and the deposit paid, the date is yours!  We are available for ongoing venue support during your planning process. One month before your wedding date, you will receive an email requesting your itinerary and the balance due for your site fee.

Is the Steeple House only for Weddings? What about special events?

The Steeple House is the perfect place to host your social or corporate events- birthday parties, workshops, reunions, and so much more. 
For events from two guests to 500, The Steeple House is the perfect venue for a seaside get together of any kind.

What are the most convenient hotels to The Steeple House?

The most convenient hotel to The Steeple House is The Ritz Carlton Kapalua. It is within walking distance of our venue!  The Montage Kapalua is also very close to our venue.  Shuttles are available to Kapalua Villas as well. 

All of the hotels located on Ka'anapali Beach are a short fifteen minute drive to The Steeple House. There are also many private homes and villas available for rent in Kapalua via VRBO or Airbnb.
